Wildlife Wonders: Up Close with Mac, Rosie, Ginger & Friends!
It’s not every day you get to hang out with a koala, a sugar glider, and a snake all at once, but our Kindy and Pre-Primary students got to do just that! Thanks to Grace from West Oz Wildlife, our students had an unforgettable experience meeting some of Australia’s most fascinating creatures.
Our special guests included Mac the koala, Rosie and Ginger the snakes, Trevor the lizard, and Caesar the sugar glider.
Grace took the students on a journey of discovery, sharing all kinds of fun facts about their feeding habits, where they live, and even why they look the way they do.
The students listened attentively to Grace’s stories, and the hands-on experience of patting each animal left them absolutely thrilled! Mac, with his soft fur and sleepy demeanor, was a crowd favorite, while Caesar the sugar glider wowed everyone with his tiny size and big eyes. And for the brave ones, there was even a chance to gently stroke Rosie and Ginger, the snakes who slithered their way into everyone’s hearts.
This visit was not only fun but also a wonderful educational opportunity, helping students connect with wildlife and understand the importance of these animals in our environment. The joy and curiosity on the children’s faces spoke volumes – they were absolutely captivated!
A huge thank you to West Oz Wildlife for such an engaging and memorable visit!
